Detailed Review
The Leatherman Wingman Multi-Tool is a compact stainless steel utility piece designed to handle everyday fixes around the house, job site tasks, and camping chores. Packing 14 functional implements into a single frame, it serves as a reliable all-in-one pocket option for DIY enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, and daily utility users.
Core functionality centers around its spring-action pliers and scissors, which reduce hand fatigue during repetitive gripping and trimming. The tool set also includes a locking knife blade, wire cutters, a wire stripper, screwdrivers, a package opener, bottle and can openers, a file, and a ruler. All tools can be opened using one hand, including implements that are not directly accessible from the outside.
For everyday carry, the Wingman features a removable pocket clip that keeps it upright and ready in a pocket or on a work belt. The locking mechanism on the blade adds stability while slicing through tougher materials, giving you dependable control during manual tasks.
Keep in mind that the manufacturer does not list exact dimensions, weight figures, or blade steel grades in the product specifications. Additionally, the package comes with a removable clip rather than a dedicated belt pouch or holster.
Verdict: The Leatherman Wingman is a solid choice for anyone who needs a capable, pocket-friendly tool for daily chores and outdoor trips. Its 14-tool selection, one-hand operation, and 25-year manufacturer guarantee make it an easy recommendation for everyday utility.
