1 1/2 IN x 100 FT Pool Backwash Hose, Heavy Duty Flat

The EASTRANS 1 1/2 Inch by 100 Foot Pool Backwash Hose is a heavy-duty lay-flat discharge line built for clearing wastewater from in-ground and above-ground pool filters. Draining pool water or running routine backwash cycles requires a dependable line that will not rupture under pump output. This hose provides an extended 100-foot reach, giving pool owners plenty of length to direct runoff safely away from foundations and landscaping.

Constructed from abrasion-resistant PVC and reinforced with 3-ply polyester yarn, the hose is engineered to prevent tears and pinhole leaks during active water transfer. It withstands chemical exposure, weather changes, and general aging while maintaining a working pressure tolerance of up to 90 PSI. It also handles water and ambient temperatures between 23°F and 149°F (-5°C to 65°C), making it suitable for varying seasonal conditions.

Using and packing away the hose is straightforward. The design slips easily over standard 1.5-inch or smaller filter outlets and pool fittings. Once drainage is complete, the hose flattens out completely so you can roll it up tightly and store it in a dry area away from direct sunlight, saving valuable space in your pool shed or garage.

There is an important sizing detail to keep in mind before purchasing. While this hose fits standard 1.5-inch hose fittings, it will not slip over a 1.5-inch rigid PVC pipe directly. If your setup uses bare 1.5-inch PVC piping rather than a dedicated hose fitting, the manufacturer recommends stepping up to a larger hose size. Additionally, the listing does not include securing clamps or adapters.

Verdict: The EASTRANS 100-foot discharge hose is a reliable, high-pressure option for pool owners who need to route waste water over long distances. It is well suited for anyone with standard 1.5-inch filter outlets looking for a durable, chemical-resistant backwash solution.
