Detailed Review
The ETOOLAB 17" Cordless Lawn Mower provides an electric solution for maintaining residential gardens, yards, and patios without handling gas or extension cords. Powered by a pair of 20V 4.0Ah lithium batteries, this walk-behind mower is designed for medium-sized outdoor spaces up to 500 square meters.
Under the deck, a 1200W maximum output brushless motor delivers 3000 RPM. This steady blade speed helps prevent jams in thicker grass patches while providing a clean cut. You can tailor the cut to your lawn conditions using six height adjustment positions ranging from 25 mm up to 75 mm across a 17-inch wide path.
Managing clippings is straightforward thanks to the included 50-liter grass catcher. The mower uses a direct discharge path to reduce buildup at the opening, so you can fill the bag completely before needing to empty it. At 14 kg, the lightweight frame pairs with a one-button switch and pull-handle starter, making setup, pushing, and storage manageable.
Because it relies on battery power, runtime is capped at up to 40 minutes per charge, which defines the maximum yard size you can tackle in a single session. The 17-inch deck is also narrower than standard full-sized gas decks, meaning large properties will require more passes.
Verdict: The ETOOLAB 40V Cordless Mower is a dependable choice for homeowners with lawns up to 500 square meters who want an easy-starting, lightweight machine. If you value a compact deck and straightforward push-button operation, this model fits everyday yard care well.
