18" 40V Max Brushless Cordless Electric Lawn Mower

The KraftSense 18-Inch 40V Max Cordless Lawn Mower provides a battery-powered cutting solution tailored for medium-sized residential yards. Operating on a pair of 20V Max 8.0Ah batteries, this walk-behind machine combines a 40V dual-battery system with an 18-inch mowing deck, helping homeowners maintain their turf without dealing with extension cords or gas maintenance.

At the center of the mower is a brushless motor that spins up to 3,600 RPM. This setup minimizes internal friction to enhance efficiency and promote a longer motor lifespan while keeping blade speeds consistent through changing grass conditions. The dual-battery configuration delivers 296Wh of rated energy, supplying enough runtime to cover up to 600 square meters per charge.

For lawn maintenance flexibility, the mower features a 2-in-1 management system that lets you mulch clippings back into the turf or collect them in a 50L grass box. A 6-level single adjustment mechanism allows you to change the cutting height between 25 mm and 75 mm, making it easy to adapt to seasonal lawn growth. KraftSense also includes three cutting blades in total (one pre-installed and two spares), alongside a 3-year warranty on the mower and a 1-year warranty on the battery packs.

A few practical limits are worth noting. While the 18-inch deck is nimble, it requires more passes on expansive properties compared to wider platforms. In addition, the package relies on two distinct 20V packs to operate the 40V system, meaning you must keep both batteries charged to mow.

Verdict: The KraftSense 18-Inch 40V Mower is a dependable choice for homeowners with lawns up to 600 square meters who want strong brushless cutting, generous clipping collection, and spare replacement blades right out of the box.
