20V 12" Cordless String Trimmer, Electric Weed Wacker & Edger

The Heywork 20V 12-inch cordless string trimmer offers a versatile yard care solution designed for homeowners seeking an all-in-one trimming and edging tool. Driven by an 8000 RPM motor, it handles general weed removal as well as tidying up driveways, flower beds, and turf borders. The 2-in-1 design switches easily between trimming and edging modes, saving storage space by combining two essential lawn tasks into a single tool.

Daily operation is kept smooth thanks to the automatic line feed system. As the cutting line wears down during use, new line feeds automatically, eliminating the need to stop and bump the spool against the ground. The physical build is also engineered for comfort, weighing in at 6.3 pounds. Paired with an adjustable grip, the manageable weight helps reduce physical fatigue in your arms and back during extended outdoor sessions.

Power comes from two included 20V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries paired with a dedicated charger. Having dual batteries on hand allows you to tackle larger yards and gardens without immediate downtime. To support routine maintenance, the package also supplies eight pre-wound replacement spools, ensuring you have ample line ready to go right out of the box.

When considering trade-offs, keep in mind that the manufacturer does not list exact battery charging times or specific line gauge dimensions in the provided data. Users with extremely overgrown lots will also want to manage expectations around typical 20V battery power compared to heavy-duty commercial equipment.

Verdict: The Heywork 20V cordless trimmer is a practical, user-friendly choice for anyone needing a lightweight, 2-in-1 tool for everyday lawn and garden upkeep. It is especially suitable for homeowners who appreciate the convenience of dual 4.0Ah batteries and included spare spools.
