20V Cordless Hedge Trimmer, 22-Inch Blade, 2 x 4.0Ah Batteries

The VOLBRIAR 20V Cordless Hedge Trimmer provides a gas-free, cord-free way to shape bushes, hedges, and garden greenery. Designed for homeowners, landscapers, and gardening enthusiasts, it eliminates messy fuel mixtures, exhaust emissions, and tangled extension cords. Because it comes out of the box pre-assembled, you can start trimming right away without dealing with complex tool setups.

Cutting performance comes from a pure copper motor driving a 22-inch laser-cut dual-action blade. Made from hardened steel, the blade produces smooth, low-vibration cuts and handles branches up to 3/4-inch thick. Power is supplied by two included 20V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries and a fast charger, which combine to deliver up to 180 minutes of runtime for complete yard cleanups. The battery pack is also interchangeable across the entire Volbriar 20V MAX tool lineup.

Handling is comfortable thanks to a light 5-pound overall weight, an ergonomic wrap-around front handle, and a soft non-slip rear grip. This lightweight setup helps keep arm strain down when working in different positions. For safety, the tool features a dual-button trigger to prevent unintended startups, along with a full-coverage guard that blocks flying debris. It operates at 90dB, keeping working noise relatively low.

While the tool cuts branches up to 3/4-inch thick, thicker limbs will require dedicated pruning equipment. Additionally, the included 20V batteries only share compatibility with other Volbriar 20V MAX tools, so they will not fit power systems from other brands.

Verdict: The VOLBRIAR 20V Hedge Trimmer is a capable, hassle-free choice for anyone looking to maintain shrubs and hedges without the weight of gas equipment or the tether of an electrical cord. It is especially well suited for homeowners and beginners who want long runtime and a lightweight 5-pound tool.
