Detailed Review
The WOIZAO Cordless Mini Chainsaw is a versatile cutting tool designed for homeowners, gardeners, and DIY enthusiasts who already own DeWalt 20V MAX power tool batteries. By utilizing your existing battery platform, it eliminates the need to manage proprietary power packs and extra chargers while pruning branches, handling yard maintenance, or cutting lumber up to 10 inches thick.
A standout feature is the 2-in-1 cutting setup. The package includes interchangeable 8-inch and 10-inch guide bars and chains, giving you the flexibility to adapt to light limb trimming or thicker logging jobs with tool-free adjustments. Powered by a brushless motor running at 8000 RPM and delivering chain speeds up to 45 feet per second, it offers strong cutting efficiency across various outdoor projects.
Daily maintenance and operation are streamlined thanks to the integrated automatic oiler. Filling the reservoir with universal chain oil ensures continuous lubrication during cuts, reducing friction and extending the lifespan of the bar. For handling, the tool features a dual-action safety switch to prevent accidental starts, a non-slip primary handle, and a detachable screw-on extra grip that lets you switch between compact single-handed use and steady two-handed control.
Keep in mind that this is a bare tool, so you will need to supply your own compatible DeWalt 20V battery and chain lubricant. Initial setup also requires adding oil and letting the saw idle for roughly 10 seconds to stabilize lubrication before making cuts.
Verdict: This cordless saw is an excellent addition for anyone already invested in the DeWalt 20V ecosystem who wants an adaptable, brushless pruning saw. It delivers great convenience and cutting flexibility without forcing you to buy extra batteries.
