Detailed Review
The PowerSmart 21-inch gas lawn mower is built for homeowners managing small to medium-sized yards who want a capable walk-behind machine. Powered by a 144cc gas engine designed for reduced vibration and simple upkeep, this mower provides steady cutting performance across typical residential turf.
Its 21-inch steel deck features a 2-in-1 cutting system, letting you mulch clippings back into the turf or eject them through the side discharge chute. Changing your cut height is straightforward thanks to a dual-lever system offering 6 distinct positions between 1.5 inches and 3.9 inches.
Handling across uneven ground is aided by a wheel layout featuring 7-inch front wheels paired with taller 10-inch rear wheels. Operation centers on an ergonomic handle, a pull-start ignition, and standard safety gear including a start/stop control lever and protective safety shields.
Keep in mind that this model lacks a rear bagging setup, so you are limited to mulching or side discharge. Shoppers should also note a small discrepancy in the product details, where the title mentions a 140cc engine while the detailed specifications list a 144cc motor.
Verdict: This walk-behind mower is a sensible, practical choice for small to mid-sized yards if you want solid 2-in-1 cutting versatility and adjustable height options without unnecessary complexity.
