Detailed Review
The CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Pole Saw is designed for homeowners and property owners who need to trim elevated tree branches without relying on a ladder. As a bare-tool option in the V20 battery lineup, it provides a dedicated pruning setup for maintaining yard trees and keeping overgrown limbs in check.
Equipped with an extension pole, the saw delivers up to 14 feet of reach to help you access higher branches from solid ground. The cutting end features an angled head and blade configuration, which helps you align your cuts accurately against limbs. To aid handling during overhead work, the pole extension includes a soft grip designed to improve overall maneuverability.
Efficiency is supported by a run-time rating of up to 325 cuts per charge. When maintenance work is done, storage is straightforward thanks to an integrated hook designed to mount directly onto the CRAFTSMAN VERSATRACK Wall Organization System.
Keep in mind that this is a tool-only purchase, meaning you will need a compatible V20 battery and charger if you do not already own them. Additionally, while the integrated hook is ready for storage, the VERSATRACK wall system itself is sold separately.
Verdict: This cordless pole saw is a strong match for anyone already invested in the CRAFTSMAN V20 platform who needs extra reach for tree pruning. Its angled cutting head and 14-foot reach make overhead trimming manageable and organized.
