Detailed Review
This 12-inch double bevel sliding miter saw brings large-capacity cutting to cordless jobsite setups. It solves the challenge of handling wide stock and tall architectural trim without tethering your workstation to an electrical outlet. Designed for carpenters and woodworkers, it provides horizontal cuts up to 14 inches along with vertical capacities of 6-1/2 inches for standing baseboard and nested crown moulding.
Efficiency and precision drive the core design. The saw uses regenerative braking technology that helps maximize battery life, capable of delivering up to 371 cuts in 3-1/4-inch MDF base molding or up to 153 cuts in 4x4 pressure-treated timber per charge. A bevel gear transmission minimizes power loss during tough cuts, while the adjustment-free cutline blade positioning system projects an accurate line of cut onto your material. Quick bevel adjustments are straightforward thanks to dedicated pawls preset for 22.5-degree and 33.9-degree angles.
Dust control and transportability are tailored for active jobsites. The system captures up to 97 percent of dust, and the built-in wireless tool control allows you to automatically trigger a paired vacuum when you pull the saw's switch. Moving the tool between work areas is manageable due to integrated carry handles and a bare tool weight of 51.7 pounds.
As a trade-off, this is a large 12-inch sliding saw that requires adequate workspace to operate smoothly. While it includes a dust bag and vacuum adaptor, the wireless-compatible vacuum itself must be purchased separately. The listed 51.7-pound weight covers only the bare tool, meaning additional battery weight must be factored in when carrying the unit.
Verdict: This cordless miter saw is an excellent choice for trim carpenters, framers, and woodworkers who need high cut capacities and clean dust collection on job sites. It offers strong battery efficiency and reliable cutting accuracy without cords.
