Detailed Review
The DOBEN 27FT Manual Pole Saw is designed for property owners and landscapers who need to clear high tree branches without setting up ladders. Combining a long-reach pole with multiple cutting attachments, it provides a safe, ground-based solution for everyday yard maintenance and tree pruning.
The telescoping handle is built from carbon fiber, which provides high strength while keeping overall weight low. This directly cuts down on arm strain and muscle fatigue during overhead work. To maintain stability at full extension, an upgraded anti-retraction safety lock secures the sections in place, preventing unwanted slippage while you saw through overhead limbs.
Versatility is a core feature of this tool, as it functions as a pole pruner, a handheld saw, and a pruning shear. For smaller twigs, a pulley-driven spring pruning jaw makes clean cuts. When tackling thicker branches, the manganese steel blade uses sharp three-sided teeth and double-sided barbs. You can also detach the saw from the pole for low-level branch trimming and shrub care, while the 3/4-inch threaded tip allows you to attach compatible utility accessories around the home.
As a manual cutting tool, using this pole saw requires physical effort, especially when working through denser wood. Additionally, the listing does not state the collapsed storage length or the exact total weight of the assembly.
Verdict: The DOBEN 27FT Carbon Fiber Pole Saw is an excellent choice for homeowners looking to prune tall trees safely from the ground. Its versatile three-in-one cutting setup and secure locking pole make overhead yard maintenance straightforward and manageable.
