Dorman H36872 Brake Hydraulic Hose Compatible with Select Porsche / Volkswagen Models

The Dorman H36872 Brake Hydraulic Hose replaces worn or aging factory brake lines on select Porsche and Volkswagen vehicles. Brake lines are critical for maintaining hydraulic pressure between the pedal and the calipers, making a reliable direct replacement essential for proper stopping performance.

This component is built using durable EPDM rubber paired with specially coated fittings designed to resist corrosion. Because it is engineered to position-specific measurements, it provides an exact match to the original equipment, helping ensure an easy installation process without routing issues.

A notable consideration is vehicle compatibility. Because fitment depends heavily on the specific make, model, and trim level, buyers must verify their exact vehicle details using a fitment tool before purchasing to avoid compatibility errors.

Verdict: The Dorman H36872 is a dependable replacement choice for drivers needing a position-specific, corrosion-resistant brake hydraulic hose for their compatible Porsche or Volkswagen vehicle.

A great fit if you:

• Drive a compatible Porsche or Volkswagen model requiring a replacement brake hose.
• Want corrosion-resistant fittings paired with durable EPDM rubber construction.
• Prefer a direct-fit line precision-engineered to original equipment dimensions.

Consider something else if you:

• Own a vehicle outside the supported Porsche or Volkswagen fitment list.
• Need a universal or non-position-specific hydraulic line.
