DOVAMAN 15A Table Saw, 8.5" Dustless Portable Table Saw

The DOVAMAN 15A 8.5-inch Portable Table Saw is built for woodworkers and DIYers needing a compact cutting station that handles accurate crosscuts, rips, and bevels. Powered by a 15-amp, 120V motor running at 5000 RPM, it provides ample cutting speed for diverse timber tasks without occupying excessive shop space.

A standout feature is the integrated soft-start system. Instead of jarring to life instantly, the motor ramps up smoothly with low vibration, preventing abrupt startup movements that could mar your workpiece or place a sudden spike on your home electrical circuit. The saw also focuses heavily on mess reduction, offering up to 98% dust separation efficiency when linked to an external shop vacuum through its rear connector.

For cutting versatility, the saw includes a 216 mm (8.5-inch) carbide-tipped blade with 60 teeth designed for clean edges. It achieves a 60 mm depth of cut at 90 degrees and up to 40 mm when tilted to 45 degrees. When handling wider boards, the expandable side plate widens the working surface from 48 cm up to 80 cm, providing extra support during rip cuts.

Because this model prioritizes portability, its capacity caps at 60 mm deep, meaning extra-thick lumber will require multiple passes or a larger machine. Additionally, the product specifications focus on the saw unit itself and do not mention standalone stand accessories or rip fence specifications, so buyers should plan their bench space accordingly.

Verdict: The DOVAMAN 15A Table Saw is a smart, capable choice for DIY enthusiasts and hobbyists who need a clean-running, low-vibration benchtop tool for general woodworking. Its combination of soft-start safety, expandable surface, and high dust extraction makes it dependable for compact workshops.
