EarthWay 2170 Commercial 100 LB Broadcast Fertilizer Spreader. Red, Heavy-Duty Walk-Behind Push

The EarthWay 2170 Commercial Broadcast Spreader is a walk-behind push tool built for distributing fertilizer across lawns and outdoor properties. Designed with a 3350-cubic-inch capacity, it holds up to 100 pounds of material to reduce the number of refill stops needed during big tasks.

For durability and smooth operation, this unit features a super-duty gearbox with enclosed gears to shield the internal mechanism from wear. It rides on large 13-inch pneumatic tires that provide roll support over turf, while the coated frame stands up to heavy lawn duties. The handle is also adjustable, letting you position it comfortably for your walking height.

Because this is a manual walk-behind broadcast spreader, moving a full 100-pound load requires physical pushing effort. In addition, the listing focuses on core build specs and does not state specific spread width measurements, flow control markings, or total machine weight, so you will need to rely on the listed hopper and wheel dimensions when planning your storage space.

Verdict: The EarthWay 2170 is a strong fit for property owners and landscapers who need a heavy-duty, high-capacity broadcast spreader with pneumatic tires and enclosed gearing. If you need to distribute large batches of fertilizer without constant reloading, this walk-behind model delivers the needed volume and structural support.
