Detailed Review
The EarthWay 2750 is a handheld broadcast spreader built for spreading grass seed and fertilizer across lawns, gardens, and food plots. Designed with a wearable bag format, it offers a portable alternative to push spreaders for gardeners, hunters, and farmers working across varied ground.
Material is held in a red, water-resistant nylon bag that supports up to 25 pounds of seed or fertilizer. A comfortable cross-shoulder strap helps distribute the bag's weight across your torso, keeping your hands free to manage the spreading mechanism and guide your path.
For flow management, the spreader incorporates an integrated agitator and a spring-close shutoff mechanism to maintain controlled output and stop flow when needed. It also features side spread control for directed placement, along with a sealed gearbox that protects internal gears during outdoor use.
As a manual shoulder-carried model, carrying a full 25-pound load requires physical effort compared to a rolling cart. Additionally, the manufacturer does not specify the exact broadcast throw width or specific setting numbers for granular types.
Verdict: The EarthWay 2750 is well suited for gardeners, farmers, and hunters who need a portable, water-resistant seed and fertilizer spreader with a 25-pound capacity. Its cross-shoulder strap, sealed gearbox, and flow controls provide dependable handheld distribution.
