EGO POWER+ Electric Lawn Mower, Self-Propelled Cordless with 22" Aluminum Deck, Select Cut and Touch Drive, Includes 56V 10.0Ah Battery and Charger - LM2206SP

The EGO POWER+ LM2206SP is a cordless self-propelled electric lawn mower designed for homeowners who want serious cutting capability without relying on traditional gas equipment. Built around a 22-inch cast aluminum deck, this mower addresses the common frustration of flimsy deck housing while supplying substantial torque and high blade speeds to tackle thick grass easily.

At the heart of its performance is an electric motor that produces up to 11.1 ft-lbs of cutting torque and blade speeds up to 3,350 RPM, delivering power and cutting performance that exceeds traditional gas mowers. Operating the machine is simplified through the Touch Drive self-propelled system. Users can engage the drive function simply by pressing with the palm of their hand, while a convenient scroll dial at the fingertips allows quick speed adjustments while moving across the lawn.

Versatility is another major highlight thanks to the Select Cut multi-blade cutting system. The package includes an upper blade paired with interchangeable lower blades, giving you dedicated setups for high-performance cutting or high-lift bagging. Lawn cleanup options are thoroughly covered right out of the box, as the unit ships with a grass catcher bag, a mulching insert, and a side-discharge chute. Powering the system is an included 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium battery paired with a 56V 700W charger, capable of delivering up to 70 minutes of runtime on a single charge.

While the feature set is extensive, buyers should consider practical details before purchase. A 70-minute maximum runtime will cover standard cutting sessions, but properties demanding more time will require pauses to recharge or additional compatible EGO 56V batteries. Additionally, the listing does not state the overall unit weight or exact handlebar dimensions, so buyers should account for storage footprint and handling preferences.

Verdict: The EGO POWER+ LM2206SP is an exceptional choice for homeowners seeking high torque, durable construction, and flexible cutting modes in a cordless format. Its aluminum deck with a lifetime warranty and comprehensive accessory kit make it a top-tier option for serious yard care.

How to compare your options: When comparing cordless lawn mowers, prioritize deck material, drive controls, and battery capability. This model features a cast aluminum deck with lifetime warranty protection, providing a sturdy alternative to plastic or thin steel decks. Its 11.1 ft-lbs of cutting torque and 3,350 RPM speed offer competitive power, while the included 10.0Ah battery delivers up to 70 minutes of runtime. Evaluate whether you need variable palm-touch self-propulsion and interchangeable lower blades for your specific lawn setup.

Choose the lower blade that matches your immediate goal before mowing. Install the high-lift lower blade when collecting grass with the included catcher bag, or switch to the high-performance lower blade when mulching or using the side-discharge chute.

Charge the included 56V 10.0Ah battery fully using the 56V 700W charger before starting your project. Because this mower is compatible with all EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries, keeping a spare charged pack nearby allows uninterrupted working sessions if your yard requires extra time.

Get accustomed to the Touch Drive controls on an open, flat section of grass. Press the drive pad with your palm to engage movement and scroll the speed dial with your fingers until you find a comfortable walking pace.

After each session, clear away grass build-up from the deck interior, chute, and catcher, following the general cleaning guidance provided in the product manual.
