Detailed Review
The Field Tuff FTF-603PTS is a 60-inch 3-point implement designed for planting large outdoor areas. Built to mount directly to tractors with Category 1 hitches, it helps landowners, growers, and wildlife managers plant acreage efficiently across 10 individual rows.
The unit features a 6-inch row spacing and an adjustable sowing depth ranging from 3/4 inch to 2 inches. It handles a wide range of seed types, including corn, beans, oats, grass seed, and food plot mixes. Two integrated boxes feature closeable slides for each row, while adjustable slots let you fine-tune the opening size for your specific seed variety.
Because this seeder uses a 3-point Category 1 hitch design, you must have a compatible tractor setup to run it. The 6-inch spacing between the 10 rows is fixed, meaning you cannot alter the physical distance between planting lines if your crop requires a different row width.
Verdict: The Field Tuff FTF-603PTS is a solid, straightforward implement for anyone with a Category 1 tractor hitch who needs to seed food plots, pastures, or crops. It delivers reliable multi-row coverage and flexible depth adjustment for varied seed types.
