Detailed Review
The GALAX PRO Cordless Circular and Reciprocating Saw Combo Kit provides two distinct cutting tools in a single package. Powered by an included 4.0Ah battery, this kit equips users for general wood and metal slicing tasks around the workshop, yard, or job site.
The mini circular saw runs at a no-load speed of 3,400 RPM using 4.5-inch blades. It handles straight cuts up to 1-11/16 inches at 90 degrees and bevel cuts up to 1-1/8 inches at 45 degrees. It comes with a 24-tooth wood blade and a 60-tooth metal blade, along with a rip guide for alignment and a vacuum adapter to manage debris.
For demolition and rough cutting, the reciprocating saw delivers variable speeds from 0 to 3,000 SPM with a 7/8-inch stroke length. It achieves cutting depths up to 5-7/8 inches in wood and metal. A built-in lock-off button helps prevent accidental startups, and five dedicated reciprocating blades are included.
Because the kit includes one 4.0Ah battery, you must swap power between tools rather than running both continuously. Additionally, the compact 4.5-inch circular saw is limited to cutting materials under 1-11/16 inches thick at 90 degrees.
Verdict: This combo kit is well suited for DIYers and homeowners who need versatile cutting options for wood and metal without buying tools separately. It delivers solid utility with its comprehensive set of blades, battery, charger, and storage bag.
