Detailed Review
The HOTO 12-in-1 Cordless Screwdriver Set is a compact fastening tool built for furniture assembly, electrical repairs, and routine household DIY tasks. Weighing just 0.55 pounds, it pairs a dual-layer handle made from plastic and TPE rubber with a frosted aluminum alloy storage case, making it easy to store and carry between projects.
For driving performance, the tool features three distinct torque settings, delivering up to 4 N·m in electric mode and up to 8 N·m when used manually. A built-in smart sensor immediately halts rotation the moment you let go of the trigger, preventing stripped screw heads or surface scratches. To help with visibility in dimly lit corners, an auto-on circular LED provides shadow-free illumination right at the work surface.
The kit comes with 12 magnetic-tip S2 steel bits rated up to 60HRC for wear resistance, covering Philips, Hex, Torx, Pozidriv, and flat blade options. Power is supplied by an internal 1500mAh battery that recharges via a standard USB Type-C port in under 150 minutes, so you can easily power it back up between tasks using modern charging cables.
While the electric mode handles light to medium household tasks with ease, heavy-duty applications that demand more than 4 N·m of motorized force will require you to apply manual torque up to its 8 N·m limit. The bit selection is well rounded for general tasks, though it includes only one flat-head bit size (SL4).
Verdict: This cordless screwdriver kit is an excellent choice for DIY hobbyists and homeowners who want a lightweight, organized, and precise tool for everyday assemblies and repairs.
