Detailed Review
The 122LKP Gas Pole Saw combines a 21.7CC engine with a long-reach pole saw attachment to tackle high-hanging branches. It is designed for homeowners, landscapers, and lawn care workers who need to trim overhead limbs from the ground without relying on ladders.
Equipped with a built-in reach of up to 12 feet, this tool lets you prune tall branches safely. The cutting head includes an X-CUT chain, engineered to provide lasting sharpness for clean cuts. Maintenance during use is streamlined by the automatic oiling mechanism, which continuously lubricates both the guide bar and the chain to help extend the life of your cutting hardware.
Starting gas equipment can often be cumbersome, but the engine features Smart Start technology to ensure quick pull-starts with reduced effort. Beyond branch trimming, the powerhead features a detachable shaft that supports multiple click-on tools, such as an edger or a hedge trimmer, expanding its usefulness across your yard.
When weighing this tool, keep in mind that extra attachments like the hedge trimmer and edger must be purchased separately. As a gas-powered model, it will also require routine engine care and fuel management. The product listing does not state exact physical weight, fuel tank capacity, or bar length.
Verdict: The 122LKP is a strong choice for anyone needing significant reach and reliable cutting performance for yard and landscaping tasks. Its multi-tool compatibility makes it a sensible investment if you plan to expand your outdoor power gear.
