Detailed Review
The Samurai Ichigeki C-330-LH is a hand-powered pruning saw designed for outdoor branch management and tree maintenance. Made in Japan, it provides a dedicated cutting tool tailored to the needs of professional arborists while remaining straightforward enough for casual homeowners.
At the center of the tool is a 13-inch (330mm) Japanese blade equipped with tri-cut teeth. This specialized tooth configuration handles trimming jobs without the need for motors or batteries. The saw is paired with an ergonomic handle that incorporates an orange grip to help you maintain control during manual cuts.
For everyday carrying and protection, the tool comes with a matching sheath. The sheath features an integrated belt clip for secure transport on your hip, alongside an easy-release mechanism so you can pull the saw out quickly when reaching for branches.
As a completely hand-powered saw, it requires physical effort for every stroke and will not replace motorized chain equipment for massive clearing tasks. The product specifications also do not mention folding capability or whether replacement blades are included in the package.
Verdict: The Samurai Ichigeki C-330-LH is an effective, well-equipped manual saw for anyone needing a reliable 13-inch Japanese blade for yard pruning or arborist work.
