Detailed Review
The Leatherman Skeletool CX is a lightweight 7-in-1 multi-tool designed for everyday carry and outdoor adventures. Built around the concept of a capable pocketknife with extra utility, it provides an accessible solution for anyone looking to handle daily tasks without packing a heavy tool roll.
Equipped with a sharp straight-edged blade, pliers, wire cutters, a bit driver, and a bottle opener, this tool covers key fundamentals. Weighing just 5 ounces, the slim frame stays portable enough for hiking, camping, or daily pocket carry. The integrated tools allow you to cut paracord, tighten fasteners, and open beverages on the go.
Because this model prioritizes a minimal footprint, it only carries core functions rather than an extensive suite of specialty implements. The product details also do not specify which driver bit types come pre-installed or whether extra bits are stored on the frame.
Verdict: The Skeletool CX is an ideal choice for outdoor minimalists, hikers, and everyday carriers who want essential utility in a 5-ounce frame. If you need a reliable blade, pliers, and driver backed by a 25-year warranty, this multi-tool delivers solid everyday convenience.
