PetraTools HD4000 Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer, 6 Hr Runtime, 6 Nozzles

The PetraTools HD4000 Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer eliminates manual pumping for property owners and professionals maintaining large lawns, gardens, or farms. Built around a 4-gallon capacity, it runs on a 12V8AH battery that delivers 6 to 8 hours of continuous runtime and can pump over 200 gallons on a single charge.

Spraying precision is supported by an adjustable pressure dial ranging from 40 to 90 PSI alongside six included nozzles. This flexibility allows you to switch between fine misting and focused streams when applying fertilizers, weedkiller, or water. The 34.5-inch extendable wand gives you extra reach, while a locking squeeze handle prevents hand strain during extended spraying jobs.

Comfort and clean operation are central to the design. The unit features double-padded shoulder straps and a back pad to distribute the weight across your torso. A wide-mouth opening simplifies refilling and cleanup, an integrated screen filter keeps debris from clogging the pump, and the translucent tank lets you track fluid levels against visible gallon markers.

Keep in mind that carrying a full 4-gallon liquid tank on your back requires some physical effort, even with padded support. In addition, because it relies on a dedicated 12V8AH battery, you need to ensure the unit is kept charged between major yard care tasks.

Verdict: The PetraTools HD4000 is an excellent choice for DIY homeowners and land managers who want consistent, motorized spray pressure across expansive properties without the constant effort of hand pumping.
