Pocket Hose Ballistic 100 FT Expandable Garden Hose, No-Kink, As Seen on

The Pocket Hose Ballistic 100 FT Expandable Garden Hose is designed for homeowners who need a long-reach watering solution without the heavy bulk of traditional rubber hoses. It expands up to three times its original size under water pressure into a full 3/4-inch diameter hose, then shrinks back down for compact, drained storage when you turn off the spigot.

Durability is centered on the multi-layer construction. The inner tubing uses a three-layer latex core, while the outer anti-burst sleeve is reinforced with a Liquid Crystal Polymer strand. This outer build gives the hose extra protection against friction and tearing when pulled across rough ground, paired with a UV-resistant coating to help prevent sun degradation over time.

Connecting and handling the hose is simplified through several hardware upgrades. A Pocket Pivot connector swivels a full 360 degrees directly at the spigot to help prevent twisting and kinks while you walk around the yard. At the connection points, solid lead-free connectors infused with real copper are paired with re-engineered thicker washers and APT connector protectors to maintain a tight seal.

While the design minimizes snags and handles everyday yard work, expanding hoses rely on internal water pressure to maintain their full 100-foot length and 3/4-inch diameter. Because it uses a multi-layer latex core rather than rigid rubber walls, care is still needed around sharp garden obstacles during use.

Verdict: The Pocket Hose Ballistic is an ideal choice for gardeners and homeowners seeking a lightweight, kink-resistant hose that reaches up to 100 feet without demanding massive storage space.

• Expanded Length: 100 FT
• Hose Diameter: 3/4-inch (when expanded)
• Core Material: 3-layer latex
• Sleeve Material: Liquid Crystal Polymer reinforcement strand with UV-resistant coating
• Connector Type: 360° Pocket Pivot swivel, lead-free copper-infused with APT protectors
