Handling is improved through a lighter design that achieves a 15% weight reduction over the SKIL 5480. This lighter frame helps minimize user fatigue during extended use. It also features a bevel capacity of up to 51 degrees, complete with a positive stop at 45 degrees, giving you greater cutting versatility than its predecessor.
To maintain clear sightlines while working, the tool includes an improved dust blower that clears sawdust away from the line of cut. It also comes equipped with a 20-tooth carbide blade right in the box, providing the essential cutting edge needed for initial projects.
As for limitations, the package only includes a single 20-tooth carbide blade, so alternative blade styles or extra accessories are not provided. Additionally, the listing does not mention a carrying case, rip fence, or laser guide.
