Detailed Review
The U.S. Pool Supply 3-foot replacement hose is designed to restore dependable water flow between above-ground pool skimmers, filter pumps, and sand filters. Built to swap out old, cracked, or leaking plumbing lines, this hose provides a direct replacement for systems using standard 1.5-inch (38mm) connection ports.
Construction relies on rugged EVA plastic shaped into a spiral-wound profile. This design keeps the hose flexible while actively defending against kinks, crushing, and everyday abrasions. The spiral build also supports optimized water flow, ensuring your pool pump cleaning system circulates water smoothly without the flow restrictions common in flimsy lines.
To withstand long seasons in the sun and treated water, the material resists chlorine, pool chemicals, corrosion, and UV exposure. Thick integrated connector cuffs sit at the ends to deliver a secure, leak-proof seal against compatible Intex filter pumps and other equipment brands using 1.5-inch fittings.
Keep in mind that at 3 feet in total length, this hose is strictly suited for closely situated components. Equipment setups requiring longer spans or different connector sizes, such as 1.25-inch fittings, will need different adapters or alternate lines.
Verdict: This heavy-duty replacement hose is a reliable, straightforward pick for above-ground pool owners looking to replace worn skimmer or pump lines. If your filtration system uses 1.5-inch connections and sits within a compact 3-foot reach, it provides solid durability against chemicals and sun exposure.
