Detailed Review
The Hippohose 4-Foot Washing Machine Hoses provide a dedicated hot and cold connection set built for residential and commercial laundry setups. Designed to replace standard lines, this pair focuses on reliable water flow and home protection against leaks.
Constructed from 304 braided stainless steel, these supply lines are rated burst proof up to 1500 psi. They include brass nuts, ferrules, and nipples for corrosion resistance, and hold both UPC certification and AB 1953 lead-free compliance. Installation is straightforward thanks to octagon-shaped fittings that allow for a secure grip during tightening or removal, while washer inserts are included to ensure a proper seal.
A clear red and blue color-coding system prevents mix-ups between your hot and cold lines. The universal sizing fits standard laundry supply lines and connects to all major washer and dryer brands. However, at a fixed length of four feet, these hoses require your washing machine to sit relatively close to the wall valves, as they will not accommodate longer distances.
Verdict: This hose pair is a dependable choice for anyone installing a standard washer who wants certified, burst-resistant lines with clear color coding and a 5-year written warranty.
