18-Inch 40V Max Brushless Cordless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower

The KraftSense 18-Inch 40V Max Brushless Cordless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower is built for homeowners who want to maintain small residential yards without dealing with gas, pull cords, or engine maintenance. Powered by an included 40V 4.0Ah battery pack, this walk-behind machine takes care of routine grass cutting on compact properties up to 1/8 acre.

Its brushless motor operates at up to 3,600 RPM, driving an 18-inch cutting deck that balances maneuverability with broad yard passes. The standout operational feature is the self-propelled drive system, which lets you adjust walking speed from 1.3 to 2.9 mph. This motorized assist significantly reduces the physical effort required on slopes or thick patches of grass.

Flexibility during yard work comes from the 6-position height adjustment, which ranges from 1.0 to 3.0 inches to handle early spring growth or higher summer cuts. You also get 2-in-1 clipping management right out of the box, allowing you to choose between returning nutrients through mulching or gathering clippings in the supplied 50-liter rear bag.

There are clear capacity boundaries to keep in mind before choosing this model. The battery delivers up to 30 minutes of runtime on its 148Wh charge, making it ill-suited for large properties over 1/8 acre unless you take breaks to recharge. Additionally, while the mower itself carries a 3-year warranty, the battery pack has a shorter 1-year coverage window.

Verdict: This KraftSense self-propelled model is a practical, low-maintenance option for homeowners with yards of 1/8 acre or smaller. If you want motorized assistance, quick height adjustments, and the freedom of cordless operation without gas upkeep, it provides a straightforward, self-contained mowing setup.
