Detailed Review
This 1 1/2-inch pool filter hose kit is designed to replace old, leaking lines or add extra distance between an above-ground pool and its filtration pump. Sized at 3 feet in length, it targets owners of above-ground setups who need a quick plumbing refresh to keep water circulating properly.
The package provides a complete installation setup, including two 3-foot hoses, one adapter, two clamps, and two rolls of PTFE tape. Built with heavy-duty ABS cuffs and reinforced hose connections, these parts help maintain the pressure seal across your sand filter system. The material is also built to withstand prolonged sun exposure without breaking.
Because the hoses measure only 3 feet and fit 1 1/2-inch fittings, they are not suitable for setups requiring longer spans or different diameter connections without extra hardware. You will also need your own screwdriver and pliers on hand to tighten the clamps during assembly.
Verdict: This replacement kit is a solid, straightforward pick for above-ground pool owners who need to fix small leaks or replace short 1.5-inch lines on Hayward-compatible filtration systems.
