Agri-Fab Tow Behind Lawn and Garden Drop Spreader for Seed, Fertilizer, Salt

The Agri-Fab Tow Behind Drop Spreader handles large property distribution tasks by attaching directly to your lawn or garden tractor. Built for large yards and outdoor areas, it distributes lawn care supplies in a neat, controlled path right from the driver seat.

Its 17-gallon hopper holds up to 175 lbs of dry material, allowing you to cover up to 40,000 square feet (approximately 1 acre) without constantly stopping to refill. The 42-inch spread width lays down seed, fertilizer, weed control products, salt, or ice melt with consistent, predictable placement across every pass.

Constructed with a rustproof poly hopper and weather-resistant parts, the unit holds up against corrosive outdoor chemicals and winter moisture. Because it is a drop-style unit designed strictly for towing, it requires a compatible tractor and drops material directly underneath the hopper rather than broadcasting it outward across adjacent edges.

Verdict: This spreader is a dependable match for homeowners with large properties and a riding mower or tractor. If you want high-capacity, controlled distribution of lawn care materials or winter ice melt across acreage, it offers the size and build to get it done efficiently.
