Amazon Basics Fertilizer Spreader for Lawn, Evenly Spreading, Multi-Gear System, Covers 5000

The AmazonBasics Lawn Fertilizer Spreader is a walk-behind broadcast spreader designed to distribute lawn and garden materials across outdoor areas. Built to hold up to 0.53 cubic feet or 33 pounds of material, it covers yards up to 5,000 square feet in a single load. It serves homeowners who need a single tool for distributing fertilizer, grass seed, salt, and ice melt.

The spreader utilizes a multi-gear operation system paired with precision control to deliver an even spread pattern. Its build combines a sturdy steel frame with a durable plastic bin designed for all-season weather conditions. Setup is straightforward because the release cable comes pre-installed from the factory.

Buyers should note the specific weight limits depending on what is being spread. While the total weight capacity is 33 pounds (which applies to coated seed), the maximum capacity for lighter, uncoated seed is 12 pounds (5.4 kg). Yards significantly larger than 5,000 square feet will require multiple refills.
