Detailed Review
The VAXMAY 4 Gallon Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer is an electric yard tool designed to eliminate manual pumping for lawn treatments, gardening, and outdoor cleaning. Powered by a 3800 rpm motor, this sprayer produces up to 100 PSI (7 Bar) of pressure, making it well suited for homeowners and property caretakers who need reliable, continuous liquid distribution over sizable areas.
Pressure output is managed via an adjustable PSI knob, allowing you to dial in gentle misting for delicate plants or switch to a focused stream for distant targets. The unit includes five different nozzles to adapt to jobs like applying weed and feed, distributing fertilizers or herbicides, cleaning vehicles, or washing pets. A telescopic wand extends up to 39.3 inches, helping you access hard-to-reach branches or tight spaces without bending or straining.
Power options and monitoring are central to the design. The sprayer comes packaged with a 21V 2.6Ah battery and a 110-240V charger, capable of handling up to 16 full tanks on a single charge. It is also compatible with Makita 18V batteries. A digital voltage display keeps you informed of the remaining charge, while an integrated low-voltage protection system automatically cuts power if the level drops below 14V to prevent cell damage. For comfort, the pack features widened, cushioned straps, integrated waist support, and a translucent tank with scale markings for monitoring fluid levels.
While the backpack harness is cushioned for comfort, hauling a full 4-gallon liquid payload creates noticeable weight on your back during prolonged jobs. Additionally, the automatic shutoff triggers strictly at 14V, meaning you must keep an eye on the voltage readout to ensure you do not run out of power mid-application.
Verdict: The VAXMAY 4-Gallon Sprayer is a practical choice for anyone wanting continuous, pump-free spraying across large yards, gardens, or agricultural spaces. It is especially convenient for Makita tool owners who want versatile pressure control and long runtime backed by a one-year warranty.
