BLACK+DECKER 40V Max Cordless Sweeper & String Trimmer, Battery & Charger Included

This 40V Max cordless lawn care combo brings together the LST140 string trimmer and edger alongside the LSW40 sweeper. Powered by an included 40V Max battery system, this pair addresses both grass maintenance and surface clean-up without the hassle of fuel or extension cords.

The string trimmer is built with a POWER DRIVE high-torque transmission designed to produce clean, fast cuts through grass and weeds. It also features an automatic feed spool (AFS) system, which automatically advances the trimmer line as needed so you do not have to bump the tool on the ground. When it comes to tidy pathways and driveways, the cordless sweeper produces airspeeds of up to 130 MPH, utilizing a low noise design to operate quietly while clearing debris from hard surfaces.

Both cordless tools include a state of charge indicator directly on the unit, making it simple to monitor remaining battery life before starting a task. However, the provided product details do not specify the exact amp-hour capacity of the battery, overall charging times, or the physical weight of each tool. The sweeper is also specifically designated for hard surfaces rather than heavy lawn clearing.

Verdict: This combo kit is well suited for homeowners looking for a quiet, battery-powered pairing to edge, trim, and sweep hard surfaces. It delivers the core tools and power needed to keep outdoor walkways clean with the added protection of a 2-year limited warranty.
