Detailed Review
The Home 17-Inch Cordless Walk-Behind Lawn Mower delivers battery-powered grass cutting for homeowners with small to medium residential yards. Designed around a 17-inch deck, it eliminates the hassle of fuel and cords while handling standard lawn trimming tasks.
A 3000 RPM brushless motor provides up to 1200W maximum output, keeping blade speed steady through routine grass. The power comes from two 20V 4.0Ah batteries, which supply up to 40 minutes of continuous runtime and can cover up to 5,380 square feet (500 square meters) per charge under test conditions. For tailored yard care, you can select from six cutting height adjustments between 1 and 3 inches (25 to 75 mm).
Operation and maintenance are kept straightforward. Starting the mower requires only a single button press and pulling the handle bar. At 14 kg, the lightweight frame makes it simple to steer around garden obstacles and store when finished. Yard waste is gathered into a large 50-liter collection bag, though keeping the inlet and blade zone clean is necessary to ensure clippings flow properly into the bag.
The primary constraint is total runtime, as 40 minutes under test conditions will limit this mower to moderate property sizes. Yards significantly larger than 5,380 square feet may require additional charging cycles to complete in a single session.
Verdict: This cordless walk-behind mower is a reliable choice for homeowners with small to medium lawns who want push-button starting, adjustable cutting heights, and a lightweight design without managing gas or cords.
