Detailed Review
The DEJUNPIOOL Cordless Mini Chainsaw is a lightweight pruning tool designed for trimming tree branches, clearing bushes, and cutting small logs. Built for property owners who already use Dewalt 20V MAX power tools, it runs directly on compatible batteries like the DCB200, DCB205, and DCB208 without requiring a whole new charging setup.
Powered by a 1200W all-copper brushless motor, this handheld saw drives chains at a no-load speed of up to 36 ft/s. The brushless design operates with less noise and lower maintenance than brushed motors, and it includes built-in overheat and overload protection. The tool weighs just 2.7 pounds, featuring a non-slip rubber grip and a compact build that allows for manageable one-handed cutting in tight garden spaces. An onboard battery level display lets you check power reserves while working.
Setup and ongoing maintenance remain straightforward. The kit includes both 6-inch and 8-inch guide bars along with four matching chains, letting you swap configurations without buying separate tools. Tensioning is fully tool-free via a rotary knob, making it easy to retighten the chain if heat expansion causes minor slack. An integrated automatic lubrication tank oils the bar during operation, provided you keep the reservoir filled and clear the oil port of debris.
Keep in mind that this is a bare-tool kit. It does not include a battery, charger, or bar oil, so you will need to supply your own Dewalt 20V pack and lubricating oil. Additionally, you need to clean the oil outlet regularly to prevent blockages, and the chain may require periodic manual retightening as it warms up during heavier sessions.
Verdict: This cordless saw is an excellent choice for homeowners and gardeners who already own compatible Dewalt 20V batteries and want a compact, two-in-one pruning tool. It delivers quick branch cutting and easy chain adjustments without the bulk of a full-size chainsaw.
