CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Pole Saw, 14-Foot, Battery and Charger Included, Pole Saws

The CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Pole Saw is a battery-powered yard tool designed to trim high branches without relying on a ladder. Equipped with an extension pole, it gives homeowners and property caretakers up to a 14-foot reach for maintaining yard trees and clearing away overhead limbs.

Cutting is handled by an 8-inch bar set at an angle to the pole. This angled head and blade orientation improves precision when lining up cuts from the ground. To help manage the tool during operation, the pole extension features a soft grip for steady maneuvering, and an integrated branch hook makes it easier to pull down limbs that get caught after cutting.

Power comes from the included 4.0Ah high-capacity battery pack, which is packaged with a dedicated charger. When the cutting hardware shows wear over time, CRAFTSMAN offers specific replacement parts, including the Cmzcsc8 chain and Cmzcsb8 bar, backed by a 3-year limited warranty.

Because it relies on an 8-inch cutting bar, this tool is intended for small to medium limbs rather than heavy logging or thick trunk removal. Additionally, the manufacturer does not list the overall tool weight, which is an important consideration for extended overhead trimming.

Verdict: The CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Pole Saw is a practical choice for anyone needing an all-in-one kit to trim high branches up to 14 feet. With the battery, charger, and 8-inch angled cutting head included, it provides a complete setup for routine tree maintenance.
