Detailed Review
The CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vac (CMCV002B) is a portable utility vacuum designed for quick spot cleaning around the workshop, garage, or jobsite. Built around a compact 2-gallon tank, this utility cleaner handles both dry dirt and liquid spills without requiring an electrical outlet nearby.
Its cordless motor delivers 35 CFM of suction power, giving you plenty of strength to pull up loose workshop debris. Maneuvering around workbenches or vehicles is made easier thanks to the included 7-foot 8-inch hose, which provides flexible reach so you can clean tricky spots without having to carry the main unit at every step.
The physical design focuses on neat storage and easy transport. Built-in onboard storage slots hold the hose and attachments directly on the unit, preventing loose parts from getting lost between jobs. However, buyers should note that this is a bare tool model: the necessary V20 battery and charger are sold separately, so you will need your own compatible power source to run it.
Verdict: The CRAFTSMAN CMCV002B is a great portable pickup tool for DIYers and craftspeople who already use the V20 battery platform and need quick wet or dry cleanup capability.
