EvaClean Protexus Cordless Battery Powered Electrostatic Backpack Sprayer

The EvaClean Protexus Cordless Electrostatic Backpack Sprayer provides large-scale sanitation for commercial environments without the hassle of dragging cords or searching for outlets. By utilizing electrostatic technology, the sprayer charges liquid droplets so they wrap 360 degrees around surfaces, coating hard-to-reach spots and undersides evenly. It is designed specifically for janitorial crews and facility managers tackling schools, hospitals, hotels, and offices.

Efficiency is central to the design. The cordless system can disinfect an entire room in under 3 minutes and covers up to 23,000 square feet on a single tank. A 16.8V IPX4-rated lithium-ion battery powers the unit, providing up to 4 hours of continuous runtime and enough power to empty 20 to 80 full tanks per charge. LED indicators make it easy to monitor remaining power during extended cleaning shifts.

For precision application, the sprayer uses a 60-micron nozzle that distributes a fine mist to minimize chemical waste and excess overspray. Working in dark or confined areas is easier thanks to an integrated precision headlight. When moving between rooms, a trigger lock prevents accidental discharge, while the ergonomic adjustable shoulder straps and supportive back panel help distribute weight to minimize operator fatigue.

While the sprayer is versatile and compatible with most sanitizers, disinfectants, and cleaning chemicals, it is optimized for EvaClean PurTabs, which must be purchased separately. Buyers should also note that the manufacturer specifies square footage coverage per tank rather than the exact liquid tank capacity in gallons or liters. The sprayer includes a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Verdict: The EvaClean Protexus Backpack Sprayer is an effective solution for commercial sanitation teams needing fast, cordless, 360-degree surface coverage. It is an excellent investment for schools, healthcare settings, and large offices requiring thorough and frequent sanitization.

A great fit if you:

• Manage sanitization in high-traffic commercial spaces like schools, hotels, or hospitals.
• Need to cover expansive areas up to 23,000 square feet per tank without cord restrictions.
• Require electrostatic wrap-around coverage for complex surfaces and hard-to-reach undersides.
• Work in dim or enclosed areas that benefit from an integrated headlight.

Consider something else if you:

• Only need a basic manual spray bottle for small, occasional home cleanups.
• Prefer a system that includes cleaning tablets in the initial package.
