Detailed Review
The EWORK 16-Inch Corded Electric Chainsaw is built for homeowners who need a capable cutting tool for tree trimming, log bucking, and storm cleanup. Powered by a 15 Amp motor driving the chain at 50 feet per second, it provides reliable power to cut through logs up to 14 inches thick. Because it plugs into an outlet, it removes the hassle of mixing gas and oil, pull-cord starting, or waiting for rechargeable batteries to power back up.
Maintenance and setup are straightforward thanks to the tool-free tensioning mechanism. You can quickly tighten or adjust the chain on the go without carrying a separate wrench. The automatic oiling system continuously lubricates the 16-inch bar and chain during use, and a built-in oil view window helps you monitor fluid levels to prevent dry running and wear.
Several built-in features protect both the user and the tool. The design incorporates a low kickback chain, a front hand guard to block flying debris, and a trigger safety lock to prevent unintentional starts. Internal PCB overload and overheat protection shields the 15 Amp motor from strain, while an included scabbard keeps the bar covered when stored.
Because this is a corded model, your working range is inherently limited by the length of your power cord, making it unsuitable for remote acreage far from an electrical outlet. Users also need to remember to unlock the front chain brake before starting up, as the tool will not operate while engaged.
Verdict: The EWORK 16-Inch Electric Chainsaw is a solid choice for residential property owners who want consistent cutting power without dealing with gas maintenance or battery runtimes. It is best suited for yard maintenance, storm clearing, and cutting firewood near the house.
