Fiskars 8-12 Ft Extendable 2-in-1 Tree Pruner & Pole Saw with Rotating

This extendable 2-in-1 tree pruner and pole saw combines a pruner head with a 15-inch double-grind saw blade to handle overhead branch trimming and low cuts without requiring you to kneel or bend over. Built around an adjustable aluminum pole that telescopes from 7.9 to 12 feet, it gives homeowners and gardeners a practical way to manage yard maintenance from the ground.

The cutting system utilizes a chain-drive gearing mechanism designed to provide extra power when pruning tough branches. Its durable steel blades feature a low-friction coating that prevents tree sap and yard debris from gumming up the cutting action, helping maintain smooth performance through heavy use.

Handling is made easier by an aluminum shaft that keeps total weight under five pounds, which helps minimize upper-body fatigue during extended trimming sessions. To ensure safety and stability at full extension, a secure double locking system holds the pole tightly in place so it will not slip while you work.

As a manual pole tool, it requires physical effort to operate, and trimming is limited to the 12-foot maximum reach of the shaft. Additionally, the manufacturer specifications do not state the exact maximum cutting diameter for the pruner jaw.

Verdict: This manual pole pruner is an excellent choice for yard owners who need a lightweight, dual-function tool to reach high limbs without climbing a ladder. It delivers reliable cutting power and extended reach backed by a lifetime warranty.
