Detailed Review
The Greenworks 24V 24-Inch Cordless Hedge Trimmer provides a battery-powered yard care solution for homeowners looking to maintain bushes, hedges, and green fences without dealing with cords or exhaust pollution. Powered by a 24V lithium battery platform, it is suited for standard residential landscaping tasks where mobility and cutting reach are key.
Equipped with a brushless motor, this trimmer is built for energy efficiency and reliable power delivery. The 24-inch laser-cut dual-action steel blades provide a 1.1-inch cutting capacity, allowing you to slice through dense or messy growth in wide, smooth passes. Because the dual blades move in opposition, cutting remains steady even across thicker fence lines.
Maneuverability is a clear strength of this tool, weighing in at just 6.1 pounds. The rear handle rotates up to 180 degrees, enabling you to adjust your grip angle comfortably when shaping the sides, tops, or awkward angles of taller hedges without straining your wrists.
The package comes ready to use with an included 2.0Ah battery and charger, delivering up to one hour of continuous trimming on a full charge. While this run time is sufficient for routine yard trimming, exceptionally large properties or multi-hour projects may require waiting on a recharge. The listing also does not detail the exact charging duration.
Verdict: This cordless hedge trimmer is a well-balanced choice for yard owners wanting a lightweight, maneuverable tool with strong cutting capacity. Backed by a 3-year official warranty, it delivers dependable performance for standard residential hedge care.
