EGO Power+ Hedge Trimmer Cordless, Electric Hedge Trimmer 26", Includes 56V 2.5Ah

The EGO Power+ 26-inch cordless hedge trimmer is designed for homeowners and landscapers who need to shape dense hedges and clear out thick overgrowth. Powered by a 56V ARC Lithium battery system, it eliminates the need for power cords or mixing fuel while delivering substantial cutting ability.

Equipped with 26-inch dual-action steel blades, the trimmer manages branches up to 1.2 inches thick. The high-efficiency brushless motor delivers up to 3,400 strokes per minute, producing low vibrations and extending overall tool life. A five-position, 180-degree rotating handle lets you adjust your grip to comfortably cut along the tops or sides of tall hedges.

Maintenance and durability are centered on a fully serviceable gearbox, which simplifies future blade sharpening, and a sturdy carbon fiber rail protected by a lifetime warranty. The included 2.5Ah battery provides up to 60 minutes of continuous runtime on a single charge, and the tool remains fully compatible with all other EGO 56V ARC Lithium battery packs.

A natural trade-off of this design is that continuous trimming sessions longer than an hour will require recharging or swapping to an extra battery. Additionally, the long 26-inch blade requires adequate clearance to maneuver around tight garden spaces, and the product data does not list the overall tool weight or charger specs.

Verdict: This cordless hedge trimmer is an excellent choice for anyone tackling substantial yard maintenance and thick hedges without cords. It provides generous cutting capacity, adaptable handle positions, and dependable battery operation for medium to large trimming jobs.
