20V Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer, 15 Ft Reach, 2 x 4.0Ah Batteries

The YDLawn 20V Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer is built for homeowners who need to manage tall shrubbery and overgrown bushes without balancing on ladders. By combining an 8-foot telescopic extension pole with a battery-powered motor, this tool provides up to 15 feet of working reach for safer overhead yard care.

Cutting performance relies on a 22-inch dual-action hardened steel blade system powered by a 3000 RPM motor. It handles branches up to 5/8 inches thick while minimizing operational vibration. To help you shape flat tops and awkward angles, the cutting head rotates 150 degrees and locks into multiple positions, allowing for precise control whether you are working along the ground or high up.

Power delivery is handled by two included 20V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries paired with a fast charger, supplying up to 2 hours of total runtime for larger outdoor jobs. Weighing in at 8.8 pounds, the tool helps reduce physical fatigue during extended pruning sessions. When you finish trimming, the foldable and detachable structure makes the unit simple to break down for compact garage storage and transport.

As for trade-offs, the maximum cut capacity of 5/8 inch means you will need a separate saw or lopper for thicker limbs. Additionally, getting the full two hours of work time requires swapping between the two included batteries rather than running on a single continuous pack.

Verdict: The YDLawn 20V Pole Hedge Trimmer is an excellent choice for anyone with tall hedges, wide bushes, or hard-to-reach landscape branches. It delivers solid reaching capability, flexible cutting angles, and generous battery life in a lightweight package.
