Detailed Review
The EWORK 20V Pole Hedge Trimmer is a battery-powered yard tool built to trim tall bushes, high branches, and hard-to-reach hedges from the ground. Weighing 6 lbs, it helps homeowners tackle overhead shaping without dragging out a ladder. The telescoping pole extends from 6.3 feet to 8.6 feet, giving you substantial overhead reach while maintaining solid control.
Cutting performance relies on an upgraded 1400 SPM motor paired with an 18-inch dual-action steel blade. It manages branch diameters up to 5/8 inch, making it capable of shaping dense shrubbery and overgrown bushes. To help you tackle odd angles, flat bush tops, and low edges, the cutting head articulates across 11 positions from 0 to 150 degrees.
Power is supplied by two included 20V 2.0Ah lithium-ion batteries and a charger. Each pack delivers approximately 40 minutes of runtime, allowing you to swap between them for continuous trimming during larger landscaping jobs. The tool also features built-in overload protection, an ergonomic handle, a dual-safety switch to prevent unintended starts, and a shoulder strap to distribute the tool's weight.
Keep in mind that this tool is strictly a hedge trimmer rather than a saw, so it is limited to foliage and branches up to 5/8-inch thick. Thicker, woody tree limbs will require dedicated cutting equipment. Additionally, the listing does not state exact battery recharge times.
Verdict: The EWORK 20V Pole Hedge Trimmer is a practical pick for property owners who need an adjustable, lightweight tool for maintaining tall hedges and shrubs. With its pivoting head and two included batteries, it offers great flexibility for routine yard maintenance.
