HEINPRO Pole Hedge Trimmer Cordless Compatible with Dewalt 20V MAX Battery

The HEINPRO Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer is a bare-tool yard solution designed for homeowners looking to trim tall shrubs and overgrown bushes without relying on ladders. Built to operate with DeWalt 20V MAX lithium-ion batteries, it lets you expand your existing cordless power tool lineup without paying extra for redundant power packs and chargers.

For cutting performance, the trimmer features an 18-inch laser-cut blade capable of handling branches and hedge growth up to 5/8 inches in diameter. The tool includes a telescoping extension pole that offers an 8.4-foot operational reach. When operated at shoulder height by a 6-foot user on level ground, it can achieve an overhead reach of up to 14 feet.

Shaping uneven hedges is simplified by the multi-angle cutting head, which locks into preset positions across a 150-degree range. This articulation allows you to switch between flat top cuts, vertical sides, and angled trimming. To manage physical strain during longer sessions, the tool includes an adjustable shoulder strap, while a dual safety switch prevents accidental starts and built-in overload protection shields the motor during tough cuts.

A notable trade-off is that this is a bare tool, meaning anyone without a compatible DeWalt 20V MAX battery and charger will need to purchase them separately. In addition, reaching the full 14-foot cutting height requires operating at shoulder height on level ground, so actual usable reach will vary depending on your height and working stance.
