Detailed Review
The Greenworks 40V 20-inch Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer offers an all-in-one yard solution for shaping tall bushes and reaching high shrubbery. Operating without a power cord, this battery-powered tool provides freedom of movement around the entire property while eliminating the maintenance of gas equipment.
Equipped with a 20-inch dual-action steel blade, the trimmer handles foliage efficiently and cuts branches up to 5/8-inch thick. To reach awkward tops and angled sides of bushes, the cutting head adjusts into three distinct pivoting positions along with its extended reach handle.
Power comes from the included G-Max 40V 2.0Ah lithium-ion battery and accompanying charger. This interchangeable power pack works across a broader lineup, operating more than 60 different Greenworks 40V tools for users expanding their equipment collection.
Because the cutting capacity maxes out at 5/8 inch, thicker limbs will require dedicated loppers or saws. In addition, the manufacturer does not list the specific overall length or total weight of the pole assembly.
Verdict: This pole hedge trimmer is a practical pick for homeowners who need extended reach for routine hedge shaping. It delivers cordless convenience and versatile angled trimming backed by a multi-tool battery system.
