Detailed Review
The WORX WG252 Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer is a 20V 2-in-1 attachment-capable yard tool designed to maintain tall and hard-to-reach landscaping without stepping onto a ladder. It combines a 20-inch laser-cut blade with an extension pole to help homeowners shape high hedges and wide bushes directly from the ground.
For shaping odd angles, the trimming head features 10 distinct working positions that adjust at the touch of a single button. Paired with a 180-degree rotating rear handle and an included shoulder strap, you can switch between trimming hedge tops, side profiles, and overhead growth while maintaining a comfortable grip.
Cordless power comes from a 20V 2.0 Ah lithium-ion battery. This battery is part of the WORX PowerShare system, meaning it can swap into more than 140 other power tools and outdoor equipment from the same line. The package also includes a 2.0 Ah charger and a protective blade sheath for safe storage.
When planning your yard work, keep in mind that this kit includes a single 2.0 Ah battery, which requires downtime to recharge unless you own additional PowerShare packs. The listing also does not provide the total tool weight, cutting capacity thickness, or attachment conversion details beyond its attachment-capable designation.
Verdict: The WORX WG252 is a solid match for property owners needing to trim high hedges up to 12 feet from the ground. It is especially convenient if you already own or plan to expand into the WORX 20V PowerShare cordless tool platform.
