Greenworks 24V 6in Mini Chainsaw, 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger

The Greenworks 24V 6-inch mini chainsaw is a compact cordless cutting tool designed for light pruning, garden upkeep, and preparing campfire wood. Weighing just 3.4 pounds with its 2.0 Ah battery installed, it offers an approachable alternative to heavy outdoor power equipment for homeowners and casual gardeners.

Its 6-inch bar and chain are sized to cut logs up to 6 inches thick. The tool also incorporates user-friendly maintenance with a one-click chain adjustment system, enabling you to set the proper chain tension with one hand and no extra tools. For security during operation, it includes a lock-off button to prevent accidental starting, an anti-slip grip handle, and a built-in baffle to guard against flying debris.

The included 24V power pack is part of an interchangeable battery platform compatible with over 125 indoor and outdoor tools. It is rated to deliver 20% more power and 35% longer run-time compared to earlier platform iterations, making it convenient if you already own or plan to expand into compatible cordless gear.

Because this model features a 6-inch guide bar, it is not built for felling large trees or slicing thick timber. The package includes a single 2.0 Ah battery and charger, meaning continuous all-day cutting will require pausing for a recharge unless you have additional compatible packs on hand.

Verdict: This mini chainsaw is an excellent choice for anyone needing a lightweight, easy-to-handle tool for light backyard trimming and small firewood prep. If your yard tasks involve only small branches up to 6 inches, it provides straightforward cutting without the bulk of a standard chainsaw.
