Husqvarna 122HD60 21.7cc Gas 23.7-in Dual Action Hedge Trimmer 9665324-02

The Husqvarna 122HD60 is a 21.7cc gas-powered hedge trimmer designed with a 23.7-inch dual action blade for maintaining shaped hedges and shrubs. It is built for homeowners and property caretakers who need a dedicated gas tool capable of trimming both wide hedge tops and vertical sides without awkward body positioning.

Starting a gas trimmer can often be frustrating, but this model integrates multiple features to simplify the process. The Smart Start engine and starter reduce the pulling effort required to get running, while a carburetor air purge system clears out unwanted air from the fuel lines. Once you power down, the stop switch automatically flips back to the start position, ensuring the trimmer is immediately primed for your next restart.

Comfort and maneuverability are central to the tool's design during longer yard work sessions. An adjustable rear handle allows you to change your grip angle to suit horizontal and vertical cutting along the sides and tops of bushes. Additionally, built-in anti-vibration dampeners absorb mechanical movement, helping to reduce the physical stress transferred to your hands and arms.

As a gas-powered unit, it requires routine fuel handling and upkeep compared to plug-in or battery tools. The product listing also leaves out specific measurements regarding overall weight and maximum branch cutting thickness, so buyers will need to keep their typical hedge density in mind.

Verdict: The Husqvarna 122HD60 is a dependable choice for anyone needing a gas hedge trimmer with low-effort starting and versatile handling. It is especially suited for yards with tall or sprawling hedges where an adjustable handle and vibration reduction make extended trimming more manageable.

A great fit if you:

• Need to trim both the tops and vertical sides of wide hedges comfortably
• Want a gas trimmer that minimizes pull resistance and start-up hassle
