Husqvarna 130L Gas String Trimmer, Trimmer Head, 18-Inch

The 130L Straight Shaft Gas String Trimmer is designed to handle tough yard work and reach spots that mowers miss. Powered by a 28-cc gas engine capable of reaching a maximum power speed of 8,000 rpm, it delivers consistent cutting force for overgrown grass and weeds. Its straight shaft layout helps you access tight or hard-to-reach areas around fences, under bushes, and along landscaping edges.

A standout feature is the wide 18-inch cutting width, which allows you to clear broader swaths of vegetation in fewer passes. Maintenance between trimming tasks is simplified by the Rapid Replace trimmer head. Instead of taking the head apart to replace worn trimmer line, you simply align the head, load the new line, and twist it into place.

Starting the tool involves several built-in assists to minimize pulling effort. The system combines Smart Start engineering, digital ignition for dependable firing across different weather conditions, and an Air Purge bulb that clears air out of the carburetor and fuel lines. In addition, the auto-stop switch returns to the on position automatically after shutdown, preventing accidental flooded starts.

To maintain user comfort, the trimmer includes an ergonomic handle design paired with LowVib Technology. This integrated anti-vibration system reduces the physical vibrations transferred from the engine to your hands and arms during operation. As with any gas-powered lawn tool, this model requires standard fuel handling and routine engine care, and the product details do not list the specific line thickness or bare weight.

Verdict: The 130L is an excellent match for homeowners seeking a powerful gas trimmer with a large 18-inch cutting path and easy startup features. It provides dependable performance for clearing stubborn weeds and trimming hard-to-reach yard areas.
